- Use of Common Areas: There are rules and regulations that govern the use of the communal areas throughout the property; these spaces include but are not limited to the kitchen, bathroom, lounge, or any other general area.
- Maintenance and Repairs: The responsibility lies with one for the rented room as well as the common areas- that is in case something needs to be reported or repaired.
- House Rules: Some examples of these may be the regulations or restrictions concerning noise, guests, smoking, and pets.
- Termination Conditions: The agreement can be terminated by either party according to the relevant conditions like the notice periods that are required and any penalties for early termination.
- Entry and Inspection: Landlords can enter and inspect your room by following these guidelines on when notice is needed and what qualifies as justifying grounds.
- Signatures: Signatures from both sides are needed from all concerned parties stating their consent agreement in regard to the outlined terms of the document.
Being legally binding, this agreement contributes towards ensuring that there is a mutual understanding between the tenant and the landlord in the sense that they should be obliged to do what has been agreed thereby minimizing the possibility of having disputes.
